The opening of the £25 million motorway link road from the M5 Junction 21 into the heart of town in the mid 1990's opened up a number of significant new employment sites, including Locking Castle Business Park next to the M5. It also improved access to established business locations in the town, these excellent road links mean that the Midlands, Plymouth and London are all readily accessible.
