The 4th September 2009 will be the first of hopefully an annual display of art on the promenade in

Weston-super-Mare.

Artists of all types will be invited to display and sell their work in gazebos along the sea front.

Gazebos will be priced at £40 to hire (limited number), or just £20 for a pitch for artists bringing their

own.

All the organisation will be performed by volunteers, all proceeds will go towards security, gazebo hire

and towards funding next year’s event or a local charity. This is non profit making event for the

organisers.

West-On.Net Appointed for Development of the Chamber Website.

Weston Chamber has appointed West-On.Net to develop and manage the existing Chamber Website, increasing the size of the site by 100% and introducing new aspects of functionality in response to Chamber growth.

There will be additional areas of Industry Sector Profiling with representative Member online promotion, a Jobs Board, a Public Announcements area, and a revised structure. Work commences in early January in time for the New Year General Meeting on January 16th, which is kindly hosted by the Howards Motor Group in Weston.
