NORTH SOMERSET INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION

The Association was established in the 70s as the Oldmixon Factory Estates Society, changing its name to Woodspring Industrial Association and now North Somerset Industrial Association, following the changes in the name of the local authority.

The Association are keen to attract new members and in the last year a number of companies have joined.

The aims of the Association are to further close relations within the industrial and commercial community of the area.

Normally holding four meetings a year, they are held at members’ premises or at Business Link’s.

Further aims are to maintain close links with North Somerset Council so that dialogue to produce a constructive course of action on matters of importance to members is readily available.

Recent issues have included parking in industrial estates, input into strategic roads and the North Somerset Partnership.
